Congratulations to all members of the band for putting on an absolutely spectacular performance in the NSW State Band Championships. Our first place result in the competition is a true testament to how far the band has developed this year.

Congratulations SUWO on being award Sydney University’s BEST CLUB with fewer than 100 members for 2010! SUWO has previously won this award in 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009, making this the 5th consecutive year we have won the award.

C&S Awards

On Thursday night September 9, the C&S Awards were announced for 2010. SUWO was proudly awarded highly commended for “Best Performing Arts Event” in honour of our schools concerts series. We were also shortlisted for best small club! The result will be announced at the USU Annual Dinner on September 24.
